Meet Kristen

Hello! I’m Kristen Oliver, MA, LMFT. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who specializes in nervous system regulation, somatic experiencing, pattern recognition and communication.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Business from Colorado State University. I worked in the corporate world of banking for several years and realized it did not light me up or contribute to my higher self. I chose to return to school, to move toward congruence and pursue my childhood dream of being a therapist. I obtained my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I have training in Emotional Focused Therapy, Polyvagal Theory as well as advanced training in Sex Therapy. I also have been a client in therapy (individual and couples) and understand what it is like to be on the other side of the chair. My understanding and lived experiences in different areas of life contribute to my ability to grasp my clients’ experiences and empathize with the demands of life.

A black and white vertical graphic with the word "Love" written in cursive at the bottom, and the phrase "You are enough" in small font at the top, with a horizontal line connecting the two.

Polyvagal Theory is the science of feeling safe enough to fall in love with life and take the risks of living.

Work With Me

I’m deeply passionate about the work I do as a therapist. At Hunting Clarity, I believe meaningful change is possible when we approach your concerns with curiosity, nervous system awareness, and a deeper understanding of yourself and/or your partner. My work is collaborative, relational, and paced to your nervous system. This supports increased regulation so you can make informed, grounded decisions rather than reacting from survival mode.

When we work together, you can expect:

  • A calm, nonjudgmental space

  • Deep attunement and presence

  • Practical tools for regulation and resilience

  • Depth-oriented work without overwhelm

  • Respect for your pace and inner wisdom

Healing doesn’t mean forcing yourself to be different. It means learning how to be with yourself in a way that allows change to unfold naturally.
